Your Privacy Matters

Clari is designed with your privacy as a core principle. We believe your health data is deeply personal and should remain under your control at all times.

Data Storage

All symptom logs, medication records, mood and energy data, notes, and personal profile information are stored on your device using local storage. This data is not transmitted to external servers or third parties. Your device's built-in security (when a passcode or biometric lock is enabled) protects this stored data.

No Account Required

Clari does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in. The app does not include analytics or telemetry SDKs. If you subscribe to Clari Pro, RevenueCat generates an anonymous identifier solely for managing your subscription.

Payments (RevenueCat)

If you subscribe to Clari Pro, payment processing is handled by RevenueCat and the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Clari does not collect or store any payment information. RevenueCat receives only the minimum data required to process your subscription. For details, see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Clari may request permission to send local push notifications for daily check-in reminders and medication alerts. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external server.

Data Export and Deletion

You can export your data at any time from the Settings screen. You can also delete all data from within the app. Uninstalling the app will permanently remove all locally stored data.

Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)

Under UK GDPR, we process your health and wellness data on the basis of your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)), provided when you agreed to these policies during onboarding. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting all data from Settings or uninstalling the app.

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

  • Right of access: Export all your data from Settings at any time.
  • Right to erasure: Delete all data from Settings > Data Management.
  • Right to data portability: Your exported data is provided in readable JSON format.
  • Right to object: Stop using the app and delete all data at any time.
  • Right to withdraw consent: Available at any time via data deletion in Settings.

To exercise any of these rights, use the Settings screen or email us at: hello@clariapp.co

Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device and retained until you choose to delete it or uninstall the app. Clari does not retain any copies of your data on external servers.

Right to Complain

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Age Restriction

Clari is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
